| Container Service |

| Tanker Service |
With 14 very large crude carriers (VLCC), and 7 mid sized oil
tankers, HMM has the largest fleet in Korea. HMM transports oil
from Middle East to Korea, and also actively participates in spot
markets where oil needs to be transported between three countries.
Notably, HMM’s oil tanker business has been a model of timely
investment and improved profitability by effectively implementing
various measures to adapt to rapidly changing situations of the oil
transportation market through effective management and a new
fleet of 2~7 years usage. |

| LNG Service |
Natural gas is liquefied at temperatures lower than negative 160
degrees Celsius for transport by LNG carriers equipped with cutting-
edge control systems and unparalled navigational technology. It is
impossible to find better service in marine transportation.
Since the first sail of Korea’s first LNG carrier "Hyundai Utopia",
HMM has come to transport natural gas from such countries as
Indonesia, Qatar, and Oman to Korea with a current fleet of 7 LNG
Service. HMM is Korea’s first and the world’s 8th LNG carrier
service provider. |

| Tramper / General Cargo Service |
With a diverse bulk carrier fleet ranging from small vessels of
30,000 or less tons to very large vessels of over 100,000 tons,
HMM provides regular bulk carrier service between ports of North
and South America, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia transporting
3.15 million tons of steel, lumber, and cargo yearly. HMM also
provides need based non-regular bulk carrier services for the
transportation of coal, cement, fertilizer, and grains between North
and South America, Australia, and Asia. |

| Ore/Coal Carriers Service |
HMM manages the transportation of over 1 million ton of mineral
ores a year, the largest such transportation in Korea. HMM provides
specialized carrier services for the transportation of Ore for Korea
Electric Power Corporation and raw materials for steel
manufacturing for POSCO, performing a key role in sustaining the
national economy. |
