- International standard for compliance management established by ISO in April

Hyundai Elevator (CEO Song Seung-bong) announced on September 8th that it was the first in the domestic machinery manufacturing industry to obtain the ISO37301 certification of compliance management system.
ISO37301 is an international standard related to compliance management established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in April, which provides guidelines and requirements for establishing, developing, implementing, evaluating, maintaining and improving effective compliance management systems.
Hyundai Elevator considers compliance management its core corporate value and has been operating a compliance officer system and fair-trade voluntary compliance program since 2012. Hyundai Elevator is making every effort to practice compliance management by taking compliance pledges from officers and employees every year and operating a cyber-reporting system to monitor ethical management violations.
CEO Song Seung-bong said, “Compliance management can only be realized with the will of the management and the voluntary participation of members,” and added, “We will do our best to grow with customers, shareholders, and the society while expanding corporate social responsibility beyond the legal and institutional boundaries to the ethical dimension.”
