Hyundai Elevator Delivers Blood Donation Cards and Makes Financial Donation

- 481 donor cards with KRW 5 million in funds…Has provided more than 1481 cards for 10 patients across past ten years
On December 18th, Hyundai Elevator (CEO Song Seung-bong) delivered 481 blood donation cards and KRW 5 million in funding to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation (Board Chairman Oh Yeon-cheon).
To help treat the patients of childhood leukemia, Hyundai Elevator has been making donations since 2011 with the blood donation cards collected from its employees and the funds raised by the company. This year’s donation adds up to make a total of 1481 donation cards and KRW 32.7 million in funds delivered to 10 child patients over the past decade.
“I would like to send out my deepest appreciation to the members of Hyundai Elevator for rendering full-hearted support amid this difficult time brought on by COVID-19,” said CEO Song Seung-bong of the company. “Like how our elevators bridge space-to-space and people-to-people, I hope our warmest heart reaches out to the children,” he added.
