Hyundai Elevator launches new low and medium speed product ‘VIVALDI’

- Presents 8 designs in total with the themes of light and nature of the four seasons
- Jamb embedded design reduces air and maximizes space efficiency by creating minimum hoistway and pit size
On the 3rd, Hyundai Elevator (CEO Bob Jang) announced the launching of a new low and medium speed elevator ‘Vivaldi’ in January.
The new product designed with the themes of light and nature of the four seasons consists of 8 types: 4 types of Vivaldi including Spring Bloom, Summer Ray, Autumn Maple, and Winter Forest, and 4 types of Vivaldi Premium including Shine Green, Shine Rose, Shine Bronze, and Shine Black. An official from Hyundai Elevator said that “the importance of elevator design is gradually increasing,” and that “based on expertise recognized by the 2018 IDEA as the first company of the global elevator industry to be awarded, Hyundai Elevator has adopted high-brightness, high-gloss materials as well as LED wall lights, and diversified its line of products in accordance with the changing market trend.”
In particular, the Vivaldi line shortened the construction period by adopting Jamb embedded hall buttons and a location indicator. According to an official of Hyundai Elevator, this “not only increases installation efficiency as it does not require a separate procedure for the walls, but it also has strengths in terms of the operation of space due to the implementation of minimum hoistway and pit size.” Moreover, the official added that “that was the part that attracted the most attention from construction officials and buyers when it was first presented at the International Lift Expo Korea 2018 last November.”
Furthermore, Vivaldi expanded the range of product selection by applying various options (premium basic specifications) such as an arrival-forecast function, eco-friendly floor material, and anti-virus handrail.
